Do you want a unique opportunity to make a lasting mark on your hospital? Consider donating to the Sturgeon Community Hospital Foundation’s Home Away from Home project. Every penny of your donation, large or small, will go into creating and furnishing comfortable, peaceful environments for those people visiting loved ones in the hospital.
When a loved one is sick, friends and family are often reluctant to leave the hospital. Our Family Rooms provide a calm and supportive space right inside the hospital, allowing families to be just steps away from their loved one. Family Rooms give visitors and patients alike a place to reconnect, relax and recharge.
This most recently opened of these dedicated Family Rooms is in the Palliative Care Unit. With your support, we hope to refurnish and build numerous other Family Rooms at the Sturgeon Community Hospital so that our community can continue to receive the best in complex care close to home!
