Fall and winter mark the return of Giving Season. Thousands of Albertans participate in holiday-themed charity events every year in November and December to give back to the community.
That’s why we call this month the peak of the season of giving. Holidays put people in the giving mood, and November and December are packed full of global holidays.
Giving Season ties directly to our mission to invest today for a healthier tomorrow, and Year End Giving is a perfect opportunity to take part in the Giving Season.
Katrina Black, President and CEO of Sturgeon Community Hospital Foundation says your gifts this season will positively impact the health care provided to you and your community.
“Through your generosity, the Sturgeon Community Hospital Foundation will continue to support enhanced health care, leading edge medical equipment, further innovation and on-site and community education,” Black says. “Please join us as you plan your financial gifts and contributions for 2018.
“You can help the Sturgeon Community Hospital Foundation to provide for the ever-changing and increasing health care needs of our community.”
The Sturgeon Community Hospital Foundation has had a fantastic year contributing to health care in the City of St. Albert, North Edmonton, Sturgeon County, and surrounding communities. The foundation has helped to support programs such as the SURGE Research Program to advance the orthopaedic upper limb surgical program.
Donations have fueled programs to enhance existing units and offerings, such as a large donation from the The Order of St. Lazarius to provide a space for families at the hospital.
These are just a few examples to how our donors support the Sturgeon Community Hospital, and we’re excited to see what programs this Giving Season can bring to the City of St. Albert, Sturgeon County, and North Edmonton.
Support the Sturgeon Community Hospital Foundation this year by investing today for a healthier tomorrow. Your donation will help us to build a stronger, healthier community.
